Antonio Banderas Joins Fashion School, Intends To Start Men’s Fashion Wear

Last month, the “Mask of Zorro” hero, Antonio Banderas announced on Twitter that he had enrolled himself in the famous art and design school, Central Saint Martins. It took many of us by surprise that the 55-year-old actor was back to school. Obviously we were wondering what could be the reason that Banderas joined the famed design school which boasts of luminary alumni such as Phoebe Philo, Alexander McQueen and John Galliano.

It now seems clear that Banderas has joined school has he has taken a keen interest in fashion designing. The actor wants to take up fashion designing more seriously and wants to focus on designing menswear. The actor told the design school’s student-run magazine that he wants to particularly concentrate of designing capes for men. He felt that there are numerous possibilities while designing capes, especially for the winters, in a place like this. He also thinks them to be very comfortable. 

He further went on to say that there is a possibility of experimenting with colours, textures, and lot more with capes. He added that a lot of men in Spain love to wear capes which are available in different colors such as pink, yellow or blue. He said that he actually found capes to be easier than coats! Well if the man who was Zorro for  us and who fought evil wearing capes says so, we believe so.
