Azza Fahmy, the luxury Egyptian jewelry brand recently created a second bespoke capsule collection for the British Museum. The retail collection will be available in the Museum’s Grenville Room and exhibition shop.

The new collection that forges together the collaboration of AzzaFahmy with the British Museum has been designed to support the Egypt: Faith after the Pharaohs exhibition which will go underway from October 29 to February 7. The exhibition will be exploring the early development and co-existence of Judaism, Islam and Christianity that prevailed in Egypt from 30 B.C.
The bespoke collection has been designed by AminaGhali, the head of design at AzzaFahmy. In the collection, the jewelry brand’s trademark mix of sterling silver with 18 carat gold components has been used to hand-craft four distinct pieces – two pendant coin necklaces, a collar coin necklace and a pair of earrings. The collection has a fashionable mix of history, modern style and culture mixed with precious and semi-precious stones such as diamonds, amethyst, garnets and green onyx.
Ghali showed her delight in being invited to collaborate with the British museum. She mentioned that it was a natural part of the brand’s design aesthetics to fuse cultural references creatively with their designs.
