Rio Tinto Previews Argyle Pink Diamond Jewelry in New York

The British-Australian MNC, Rio Tinto recently held an exclusive preview in New York where they showcased a series of limited edition collection of rare and iconic argyle pink diamonds.

Five US retailers appointed under the Argyle Pink Diamond’s Select Atelier program launched the jewelry collection. These five retailers, namely, Bachendorfs, Americus, Barmakian, Tappers and Rosenberg Diamonds, have been appointed against the backdrop of the prestigious 2015 Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender.

With this, the luxury retailers have become a part of an elite group of master craftsmen in the United States. The US is considered to be an important collectors’ market for fancy gems. It is also the world’s largest retail diamond jewelry market. 

Josephine Johnson, Argyle Pink Diamonds manager expressed his delight in the preview event. He personally welcomed the new Select Ateliers and said that they were the ones who were committed to beautiful designs and quality craftsmanship. He also mentioned that their qualities would perfect fit with the “rarity, beauty and luxury of Argyle pink diamonds.”

There are 65 rare pink and red diamonds that are part of Rio Tinto’s 2015 Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender and is currently in New York as a part of its global tour. Till now the tender has been successfully applauded and many collectors, connoisseurs and luxury jewels have shown their interest towards the rare collection.
